I. Hate. Air. Canada.

I must admit though, they have a pretty good deal going! Who wouldn't want to be in a business where you can liberally price gouge and then not deliver what the customer paid for!

So I got up shortly at 4:15 AM in order to go catch a 7 AM flight. We get dropped off and are checking in and are informed that oh yeah, the flight is now at 9:45 AM and has two connections instead of one. Great. What am I supposed to do at the airport for four hours? With what I paid for the tickets, they could at least make the wireless access free. When the plane FINALLY gets there, we spent a full HOUR just... sitting on the runway. It made things a little tight making the connection, especially considering the lousy signage at the Montreal airport. (SEriously, you just had to keep walking and hope that maybe there were gates in that direction) Incidently, when you've spent four hours waiting for a flight, there's nothing more irritating than listening to them call the business class passengers up first. That flight ALSO wound up running late, though not by nearly as much. When we got to Toronto, we realized that they hadn't even changed me and Ryan around to being on the SAME flight from Toronto to London, despite the fact that we checked in within minutes of each other. Luckily they managed to clear THAT much up. So we got on the plane and...

Propellers. I kid you not. PROPELLERS. Which wouldn't be a problem except that size plane is uber cramped and has no overhead storage bins. But we finally made it to London at around four, when according to the flight we paid a small FORTUNE for, we should have gotten in at 11 AM. But we did make it in.

Except NONE of our luggage did. When I first found out if there was going to be a problem with the multiple connections, they assured me things would be fine. Not that I believed them for a SECOND. OUt of three pieces of checked baggage for the two of us, NONE of it actually arrived in London.

I want my luggage. I also want, oh, about five hours of my LIFE back. I had plans for this afternoon. Plans involving running errands at government offices that have an annoying habit of only being open during regular business hours. They were good, productive plans. I wanted to follow through on them. INstead I've spent my entire day in AIRPORTS. I don't think it's so much to ask that when I spend half a month's pay on something I actually get what I PAID for.
