Apr. 8th, 2007 12:24 amSo, the homily at the Easter Vigil today started with "That was the wrong Gospel for this year." Since he read the wrong gospel, several moments of the homily had to include "or it would have, in this year's gospel."
They baptized two little boys, around nine years old, tonight. They had these adorable homemade "Jesus loves me!" t-shirts. I think they might have been brothers. The number of parents implies it. Plus, they laughed at each other when they were being dunked, which SCREAMS siblings. :p
I also got to briefly talk to Claudette about weddings and arranging the marriage prep courses. My mother kept informing people that I may be old enough to get married, but she doesn't feel old enough to be the mother of the bride. :p
