Mar. 19th, 2007 12:10 amSo, I did manage to find Les Mis in French. The lyrics are slightly more gruesome in French (this is fun, actually understanding what's being said beyond a vague "Well I know they're arguing about horses and mules because we did this show...") "A Little Fall of Rain" is "Un Peu De Sang Qui Pleure" ("A Little Blood That Rains")
I spent most of the day watching various things while working on my Organic paper, because I work quite a bit better on paper than a computer when I'm doing the first draft. Sam was home for a while, so we watched "Ariel". It was her first time watching it, which was quite fun.
Then Vicki and I watched Roman Holiday which was old school black and white funness. We followed it up with the Baz Luherman Romeo and Juliet, which was super shiny.
During R&J, I kept trying to write my paper in iambic pentameter. Unfortunately, the word "carbon" does not lend itself well to that meter. :p
Good news is my calculations for my computational project have been working like a DREAM. So once I get this paper done and that, I've finished all the big projects. A few assignments left, and the second inorganic midterm and three finals, of course, but I'm getting there.
I have to ask Glen for a rec letter tomorrow. Which is scary, because I hate talking to people.
