Jan. 5th, 2007 10:31 amMy subconcious is sometimes quite lame about coming up with dreams. Like last night, when I dreamed about... taking Elphaba to the vet. It was actually quite an adventure, because dream!Elphaba doesn't like her cat carrier, so there was a whole sequence of getting her into the thing in the first place. Then on the walk to the vet, she would periodically escape. For some reason, the vet's office was by the highway instead of downtown like it REALLY is. :p It was definitely NOT the most exciting dream ever.
Why are my dreams so lame? Is it because of all the emo jokes? :p
And in the wacky world of Sims (not that I'll get to play them very much with my life being eaten and all)...
There was a seriously bad day at Book and Inara's house. First they got broken into, though the burglar alarm brought the cops running right away. Then, as the cop was fighting the burglar, VIctor (the oldest of Book's orphans) decided he was just DYING for some spaghetti. NATURALLY he proceeded to set the stove on fire. :p And in the middle of all this, Holly aged up to teenager. Which is just the beginning of why she's going to be a messed up teenager. See, I kinda lost track of Book's age, so he died of old age the next day. I forgot to Elixer him, and didn't remember it had been several days until I heard luau music and saw hula dancers. Then I scrolled over and saw the Grim Reaper decked out in flowers. :P The real winner in this situation is INara though. Book's life insurance paid each of the kids nine to ten thousand simoleans, which went into the general household coffers. Except she doesn't REALLY win, since now she has these four kids in her house that Book isn't looking out for. Though Victor and Susan have been sent off to university now, so it's one teen and one kid left.
Victor and Susan were both so skilled and so orphaned that they received enough scholarship money to avoid living in the dorms. Instead, they have a little studenty (ie, cinder block bookcase :p) house that they share with Daniel Washburne (the oldest of Zoe and Wash's kids). Daniel and Susan have been dating since they were teenagers, and in his sophomore year, he FINALLY rolled a want to do with her. He'd rolled an occasional fear, but his wants had all been so KNOWLEDGE SIMMY. :p When they were teenagers, Susan had a "Go steady with Daniel" want, while Daniel had a "Be rejected for going steady with Susan" fear. They had a similar situation when it came to getting engaged. I'm sure Daniel is just THRILLED to be living with his fiancée and her OLDER BROTHER, incidently. :p
Knowledge Sims apparently very much want to major in physics, as Daniel and Victor both rolled that want repeatedly. Victor actually got to, because his Lifetime Want is to be a scientist and the skillset matches up. Daniel, on the other hand, wants to be a Criminal Mastermind... which is apparently what you do with a BA in English (well, literature :p). Knowledge Sims are also TERRIFIED of majoring in drama. :p
