Been a couple days since I updated, eh? I think my Organometallics midterm went decently, though I blanked on a stupid little thing, oops.

Tuesday night I watched Wuthering Heights with Vicki. It was an older version that only did the first half of the book and became quite mutilated in the end. The guy who played Heathcliff was rather scary looking. He had these eyebrows that CLEARLY shoot thousands of tiny lasers. I also came to the conclusion that Dream's voice would sound like him. It had just the right quality. I figure it was no coincidence that I made this decision when Heathcliff was being nasty to a girl. :p

The highlight of the movie was definitely watching Vicki explain the second half of the book afterwards. She was jumping around the living room in a very ANIMATED explanation. "And then Heathcliff-- GRR!" and such.

Yesterday I complete forgot that I had a Kinetics assignment due today, so I had to cancel plans with Ryan, which was upsetting. Blasted Kinetics. I also forgot that the paper is due four days BEFORE my presentation, so I have to, y'know, write that.

Tessie sent me a link to a really low quality video recording of the Broadway version of Rent. I didn't think it was possible, but Angel/Collins is even CUTER in that version. Tess, why are you ships always so endearing?

No Organometallics this morning, which is exciting. I really love that class, but it's an 8:30. Having it cancelled means no class until 1:00, which means EXTRA SLEEP!

So, this weekend:
G&G video viewing Friday night. I've decided I'm going to run for Vice-President, because I'm INSANE like that.

Moncton trip on Saturday, which will be very fun. I get to engage in SUPER SEKRIT NINJA BUYING because Vicki's birthday is on Monday.

Sammy and Doug are coming over on Sunday to watch Rent (movie version). Sunday is also time for me to bake Vicki's birthday cake and write that Kinetics paper.

Who needs sleep? :p

Sometimes, labs can really be quite productive. I was trying to do a distillation today. For those of you not up to speed on chem lab techniques, this involves a lot of sitting and waiting for something to boil. This can be very boring if you come unprepared. Fortunately, with an open ended lab like this, I knew full well that I was going to be distilling today. So I brought along my writing clipboard and wrote Death/Death. I now have them in the same room! I actually got a lot written. To the point that I realized I'd forgotten to add fresh looseleaf to the clipboard and had to continue on the back of a random writing excercise.

Oh, and my distillation works so I now have the liquid isolated. :D
