Vicki and I watched the first episode of Digimon Savers today, which was pretty exciting.



First off, OMG, badass!Agumon! The show has an older feel than the earlier seasons, which probably has to do with the older age of the actual cast. The main character is distinct while still being so UTTERLY a gogglehead. Except... he doesn't have goggles. My entire worldview is shattered! The gang type modes of address between him and Agumon are amusing, and certainly different from anything we've seen before.

And OMG IPOD DIGIVICE! :p

Japanese kids remain SPOILED when it comes to cartoon music.

It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the cast is like (there's one other major character still unintroduced) and how this whole thing plays out.

We were also TOTALLY picking out where stupid jokes will be made if this gets dubbed. :p

I'm not a big fan of it. Then again, perhaps it was a matter of marketing for the first season in the US. I just know that was enough. >.> I do admit, I enjoyed the movie.
