*patpat* To make it better, this was found in an academic english book/glossary: "Allegory: [*blah blah blah*] An excellent contemporary example of allegory is Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, where many of the main characters are named after abstractions, such as 'Dream,' 'Destiny,' and 'Desire.'"
