Before my tale of awesome, a brief rant.

Why do pants with shallow pockets even exist? The last two pairs of jeans have had pockets so shallow that my keys and bus pass keep falling out of them. It's never been something I even thought to check when clothes shopping considering... why would jeans have pockets you can't put things in? What would be the point? AND YET.

Anyway, this is important because I was wearing a pair of those yesterday. When we were at the checkout at the grocery store, I noticed that my keys were not actually in my pocket. So I backtracked all through the store trying to spot them on the floor. No dice. So I hoped they had fallen out in the car and were sitting on the seat. Which... they weren't.

Halfway home, I reached into my coat pocket...

Yeah.

Yeah, jeans with shallow pockets suck. I think I shall make sure to check the pockets out BEFORE I buy my next pairs of jeans because the one pair I had with shallow pockets (they had a hole in them and have been sacrificed to the sewing gods now) really annoyed me because I like to not carry a purse around a lot of the time.

But that is hilarious and awesome, go you.

I hate those pants! I'm pretty sure it's a girl pants thing. Like, they expect girls to carry purses and not ever use their pockets for anything other decoration. :\
